Arctic Ritual – Shipping & Delivery Policy

At Arctic Ritual, we partner with trusted international manufacturers and logistics providers to deliver premium cold plunge systems directly to customers across Australia.
This Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.
All delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to production schedules, freight availability, customs processing, and other factors outside our control.

1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship exclusively within Australia, including mainland Australia and Tasmania.
We do not ship internationally at this time.
Restrictions
We are unable to deliver to:
- PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers
- Remote, offshore, or restricted-access locations where heavy freight carriers do not operate
- Properties with access limitations unsuitable for heavy deliveries
If your address falls into a restricted category, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.
2. Order Processing
- Upon successful payment confirmation, your order is submitted to our manufacturing partner for fulfilment.

Orders are typically processed and locked within 24–48 hours.

After this lock-in period, cancellations or modifications may not be possible. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

If there is an issue with stock availability or production scheduling, we will contact you promptly.
3. Production & Manufacturing
Our cold plunge systems are custom-produced or prepared to order to ensure quality control and product integrity.
Production Lead Time
Approximately 3–5 weeks, depending on:
- Model selected
- Customisations
- Factory workload
- Seasonal demand
Production timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once production is complete, your system is prepared for international or domestic freight dispatch.
4. Shipping Methods
Orders ship directly from our overseas manufacturing partner or from a local partner facility (if stocked domestically).
Freight Methods
Sea Freight (Standard Method)
- Preferred for heavy and bulky systems
- Estimated international transit time: 14–28 days
Air Freight (By Request)
- Faster (approximately 7–14 days transit)
- Higher cost
- Not recommended for heavy systems
Freight method selection depends on product size, weight, availability, and operational considerations.
5. Estimated Total Delivery Timeframe
Estimated total delivery timeframe: 6–8 weeks from order date.
This estimate includes:
- Production scheduling and manufacturing
- Quality control
- International freight transit
- Port handling
- Customs clearance
- Local freight transfer
- Final delivery coordination
For products stocked within Australia, delivery may occur sooner.

Possible Causes of Delay
Delivery timelines may be affected by:
- Customs inspections or clearance delays
- Port congestion
- Carrier scheduling
- Public holidays
- Weather disruptions
- Supply chain constraints
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we commit to delivering within a reasonable timeframe. If significant delays occur, customers may be entitled to remedies.
6. Order Updates & Tracking
Due to the nature of international sea freight, live tracking may not be available during the overseas transit stage.
Customers will receive structured milestone updates, which may include:
- Production completion confirmation
- Freight departure confirmation
- Arrival in Australian port (where available)
- Transfer to domestic carrier
- Final delivery coordination
Tracking numbers are typically provided once the shipment has been transferred to a domestic Australian carrier.
If tracking is unavailable during international transit, this is normal for sea freight shipments.

7. Shipping Costs
- Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on delivery location and product size.
- Fees are displayed transparently before purchase.
- Promotional free or discounted shipping may be offered from time to time.
- All prices are in AUD and include applicable GST.
8. Customs, Duties & Importation
Products ship from overseas through our logistics partners. We coordinate standard customs declarations and import processes. In most cases, no additional duties or taxes are payable beyond checkout pricing.
However, if unforeseen customs charges arise due to regulatory changes, customers may be responsible. We will assist in resolving disputes and may reimburse reasonable unexpected charges at our discretion.
All pricing includes applicable taxes at the time of purchase.
9. Heavy & Bulky Freight Conditions
Certain models (including timber and stainless systems with chillers) may exceed 200kg combined weight.
These items are classified as heavy freight.
Delivery Requirements
- Delivery is curbside or ground-floor only.
- Clear access must be provided (wide gates, no stairs unless pre-arranged, suitable driveway access).
- Customers may need to arrange unloading assistance or equipment.
If access is inadequate:
- Additional fees may apply
- Delivery may be refused
- Redelivery charges may apply
Heavy freight deliveries fall within the estimated 6–8 week timeframe but may vary based on scheduling.
10. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing complete and accurate delivery details
- Ensuring delivery access suitability
- Confirming any local permits or site requirements
Failure to provide accurate information may result in:
- Redelivery fees
- Return freight deductions from refunds
- Additional handling charges
For heavy freight items, return and redelivery costs may be substantial.
11. Delivery Issues
Inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. Report any damage or missing items within 48 hours via contact@arcticritual.com with supporting photographs.
Failure to report within 48 hours may affect eligibility for claims.

12. Failed Deliveries
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- No one available
- Refusal of delivery
- Inaccessible site
You may be responsible for:
- Redelivery charges
- Return freight costs
- Storage fees (if applicable)
For heavy freight systems, these costs can be significant.

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of our Site or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
